I have a friend who buys most of his shoes here when they have sales, he loves them.
I got a pair which felt fine for one day and then began to bother my feet. I ended up buying pads to put inside shoes which sort of worked.
Let's see what Yelpers say- OH NO, what is this, anyway, no reviews for this store, just for the one on Third Avenue uptown and to the East..Where ALL the reviews appear to be by women! One says it has both men's and women's shoes...WHAT is going on here?!!
I will run reviews from Third Avenue store...this is so tiresome

Clarks is by far my favorite shoe store in the world. English fashion brands clearly understand the concept of style mixed with providing the consumer a superb level of comfort. The customer service there is wonderful, you don't feel rushed at all and they don't hover over you encouraging you to buy the shoes. Any questions you have for them they will be happy to answer, even over the phone they take the time out to speak to you, but it's best to come in.
I have found for me that i am willing to pay for their higher end line which is called the UN strutcured series. When you put these shoes on and start walking around you feel like you are walking on air, better yet a huge tub of jello that's even, in all honesty i feel like i'm on the clouds. The comfort and support this series provides for my feet is unreal not mention that they have a built in ventilation technology that allows my foot to breath even on hot days so when i take off the shoe my feet aren't all sweaty and gross smelling. I have three pairs of the UN strutcured series, the Un.Edwin, Un.Sheridan, and Un.Kenneth and i probably will be getting my fourth the Un.Sand within a few days of making this post.
Do yourself a favor and get down to Clarks, male and female they have very good deals for both and on top of that sign up for their member ship card, it's worth it because sometimes getting two pairs of shoes you like will run you about $300 to $350 a pop and for every $400 you spend they take $40 off. It may not sound like a lot but trust me it will be well worth it. -

Manhattan, NYNot only is the product wonderful, but the customer service really shines. I felt as though the salespeople were genuinely interested in my satisfaction with the shoes, and I felt comfortable and happy in the store. They are knowledgeable, kind, and provide amazing service! -

Great service and happy store workers. They even asked me if I wanted anything, even though I was not looking, just waiting for my companion to finish shopping. While they're definitely more women in the store, they do have a tiny kid area in the back left as you enter. Sometimes they have excellent deals with a regular discount on top of the promotions. And they have a loyalty program - spend $400 and get $40 off the next purchase.
Parking's a pain on the street but that's because it's close to the Queensboro entry. -

Bronx, NYThis review is about the customer service, not the product. It's been a long time since I went into a shoe store -- or any store -- and felt like the people working there actually cared about doing their jobs well. I'm sorry I can't remember the young man's name who helped me, but he was very pleasant and knew the products in detail. Everyone working there was friendly, helpful and eager to make my shopping experience as high quality as possible.
As a contrast, I recently went into the Mephisto shoe store (much more expensive shoes!) up the block. The people working there simply couldn't be bothered to talk to me, let alone help me with anything -- and I was the only person in the store!
I give Clarks 4 stars, knocking off 1 star because the store itself is not very well laid out. As far as I could tell, there is only 1 full-length mirror on the ladies' side, so if someone is using it, you have to wait your turn. -

I just bought a cute pair of red sandals here. They're being shipped to my home, since Clarks didn't have my size in red in stock. No extra charge. I like that. I like Clarks. My favorite boots, which I bought early last year, are from here.
Be warned, this location is chronically understaffed. Today the sales guy was so pleasant, it made up for it. In the past, however, I've actually walked out because someone who's helping (?) me disappears for hours on end. Maybe days. Ok, ok, I'm exaggerating. It's not Shoe Mania, after all. There's a certain "look" about Clarks' shoes. I'm sure that for each person who finds them practical and comfortable, there's another who wouldn't be caught dead in them. I'm one of the former, generally. Some of their shoes are just plain ugly, I'll admit. A lot of them aren't even comfortable, but they have that look like they're supposed to be -- you put them on your feet and they're like, "Ha! Fooled you!" But if you pop in frequently and keep an open mind, there are some great finds here, just waiting to be... found. -

I am totally with Susan C. review.
"...they are solid, quality shoes that are fashionable and (most important of all) do not obliterate my wallet."
...and their customer service and sales person are exceptionally professional for their price points. Irving who helped me never stop saying "You are welcome!" after I said "Thank you!". I know that's what should be but that doesn't happened often. The store was packed but Irving was helping many clients with same.
I ended up with one of Indigo collection and loved it! Comfort is what Clark's offers and it was my first purchase of Clark's but not last. -

Brooklyn, NYGotta luff dose swanky shoes.
I bought a pair of desert boots and a pair of boat shoes from Clarks. They are not only extremely comfy, they allow me to channel my inner hipster to fit in the city. In all seriousness, they are solid, quality shoes that are fashionable and (most important of all) do not obliterate my wallet. -

Manhattan, NYI only have one experience shopping in this store, and I don't anticipate on having another one.
The customer service here is terrible. After a very long time, I was finally helped by a salesperson. When they didn't have the shoes I wanted in my size, I asked to order them. I was told they would call me when they arrived...
2 weeks later, no shoes. I tried calling the store a few times, and I was assured that someone would call me when they came in. Nobody called, and the manager could not confirm the whereabouts of the shoes when I called to ask where they were.
I finally ordered my shoes on another website, and will be seeing them shortly. Do yourself a favor and get your Clarks elsewhere. -

Brooklyn, NYi wander in here on my lunch break sometimes. i like clarks 'indigo' and 'structure' lines particularly their flats but i never buy them because they are well flat and i like pretending to be taller.
so i found some 2" clogs on sale the other day and i special ordered my first pair of clarks. as promised i picked up my shoes 5 days later i wore them home but immediately had buyers remorse.. i was torn, i was tall and comfortable but my feet were ugly, i mean they were REALLY ugly but in a cute sort of pug-faced way. so i deliberated... and deliberated and eventually returned them. clarks took them back for a full refund even though i had special ordered them and worn them home and then waited a week to return them. thanks clarks!
i don't think i will ever actually buy any shoes here again, i like my shoes a little prettier and not so chunky or orthopedic but i plan on taking my significant other here to get some shoes, apparently his 1/8th of an inch man heels hurt him. maybe he can get some old school chukkas...
in short: shoes so fugly only a mother could love them. but man are they comfortable.
