Manhattan, NYNice clothing, but not anything I really wanted. There's no subtlety to either the color or the texture (not like Armani or Gucci). It's all happy stripes. Also, the store itself has no style.
However, the service was really good. A very attractive woman helped me. Unfortunately, she was about three inches taller than I am. She was in heels. Damn heels. Where is Kristin bell when you need her?
Thomas Pink's very slim shirts (they have slim and very slim) are slim, but not as slim as either theory or John Varvatos slim. The slim shirts (just slim, not very slim) aren't at all slim.
I wound up buying a Z Zegna shirt at Saks. -

I feel like I need to warn you about the bespoke shirts they offer. Not really bespoke but custom shirts. My bf ordered 2 shirts because the lengths of regular Thomas Pink shirts do not work for his 6 foot 4 frame. Having read in GQ that Thomas Pink shirts were one of the best (without trying them since they don't fit) he had 2 shirts made at $275 a piece. 6 months later you can find these shirts in your local charity clothing bin on popular highways. Why? threads loose, neck on a light purple shirt is discolored, they were just flimsy. The sales associate who worked with us did say to not dry clean them much, just hand wash so they can last longer. He did this, and they still did not hold up. He s lazy and doesn't care to formally complain to them. So here I am.
Nordstrom has a shirt in a longer length slim cut for about $80 that are MUCH better in quality.
The tie we got for "free" has held up nicely, but seriously the shirts were terrible. -

New York, NYTwo of my closest male friends are great tie afficionados whose flair for dazzling and colorful ties reminds me that it is the male peacock that is the more preening of the species.
My friends aren't preening, but I love to acknowledge their debonair tastes with gifts from Thomas Pink, whose ties are made from a lustrous silk. The many patterns and color choices are never boring nor dull. The quality silk shimmers with vibrant colors...these are not ties for those shy of expressing sartorial splendor. -

Yes, why would one willingly pay thrice the money that you would pay elsewhere for a shirt? But for the distinctive feel of the cotton, and for its contrarian yet classic designs, Pink is unbeatable.
I got addicted to Pink shirts after someone gifted me one they purchased for me at London Heathrow. Charles Tyrwhitt makes good shirts too, but they are a step down in craftsmanship and comfort.
Wish I could afford to buy more from Pink. -

New York, NYPeople, for some odd reason, tend to believe that expensive clothing automatically means long-lasting. This is not always the case.
Thomas Pink is quite an expensive store, and you will undoubtedly feel out of place if you walk in wearing jeans and sneaks. And they will make that known to you. I came here to purchase a nice tie for my brother. I was in a rush so I picked up a blue striped tie, thinking that if I'm paying so much for a tie, it'd probably be of good quality. But when I got home, I noticed that the stitching along one of the sides was kind of loose, and being ever curious, I pulled on it...and the thread came out.
So look before you buy...and don't get fooled by the pretty space. -

Philadelphia, PAVery disappointed. For a high end clothing store, this location lacks in customer service, which is such a shame since it is one of the main high-volume stores in the US.
We had shirts sent specifically to this store and were told that the manager would put them aside for us prior to our arrival. When we made it into the store, we discovered that was not the case. Apparently, no one bothered to set them aside for us, despite the fact that we were informed that they were ready for pick up. When we asked for the shirts to be located, the sales associate expressed that the back room was not organized and that she would have to "look all over for them." We asked again and she didn't have a problem with giving us the same answer. Wow.
Two stars instead of one... for honesty and actually taking the time out to explain the whole shirt negligence thing. -

Chicago, ILMy favorite dress shirt of all, bar none.
170's, Winchester and Luxury -- amazing fabrics, incredible style and colors (or is that 'colours?'), flashy, yet many are classic and subtle enough to wear into a courtroom. There is no denying that you feel great wearing one of these shirts. Now -- I'll still stock up on my Paul Frederick $30 white dress shirts, and they serve a practical purpose, but it is well worth the occasional splurge to buy a Pink.
I offer no flames to previous posters, but I will say that on a personal note, I have managed to care for my Th. Pink shirts and I still have some classic cut ones that are going on 4 years old with no frayed cuffs, no discoloration and no shrinking (again -- care has been the key - cold water wash only).
I love my Thomas Pink ties, but I will willingly confess that I too have experienced some snags and light 'dethreading,' but I have always chalked that up to unfortunate hand calluses rubbing it, or just simply being too 24/7 while wearing it/them. i.e., I am rough on ties no matter the make or model, and I think the finer the silk or fabric, the more careful you have to be.
The other bonus of going into the store, either the standalones in NYC, Boston (my favorite one) or some of the in-store ones like at Marshall Field's in Chicago, is that their knowledgeable salespeople will gladly help you find a color match, style and fabric for which you are looking. To top off the experience, I even received a handwritten thank you note on Th. Pink stationery from my last salesperson a few days later...Classy touch.
I recommend everyone (man or woman) buys at least one Th. Pink dress shirt, and experiences the difference for themselves. -

Thomas Pink. Their shirts are flawless, truly amazing with high-quality fabrics and cut. Made true to size, if not, they offer made-to-order services - Personally Pink. There are countless colors and patterns that make their shirts very stylish yet pratical for work attire. The men I know love it and I just enjoy going into the store period.
The sales associates are courteous and have expertise knowledge in assisting you on finding the perfect match. I can be picky and at times indecisive bc there are sooo many selections of exquisite items, and at HIGH-end prices I'll take my time = ]. Wearing a Thomas Pink shirt gives off a certain aura, maybe a slight cocky-fresh presence lol.
Unless your making six digits, Thomas Pink makes for a very impressive gift for a special someone.
