Toronto, CanadaThis is one of those cute 24-hour diners you hope to visit while in NY. Most of the servers are these cute older men that you know have been working their for years and just naturally set the mood of a welcoming establishment.
We went for breakfast and their menu has all the standards at very fair prices. The food is decent, not out of this world but very fair for what you're paying.
If you're looking for a place for cheap, dependable breakfast, definitely stop on here.
I can't speak about their other food but any hour of the day/night that we walked by, there were people inside so they must be doing something right:) -

Franklin, TNNot great... my boyfriend and i have been here twice because it's conveniently located close to our UES apartment. while it's not absolutely terrible or anything, the service isn't good, it's overpriced, and the food isn't too satisfying.
Our breakfasts there were actually pretty decent. However, on our second visit, the service was bizarre and awkward, my "medium" hamburger was cooked to a charred hockey puck, and my boyfriends reuben was an open faced, poor quality disaster. I will say that the sweet potato fries were good.
Only come here for breakfast food, pass on the sandwiches etc. I can see why you'd come here if it's 4 AM and nothing else is open, but during regular daytime hours you can easily do better. -

East Lansing, MIWent in on a Saturday at 10 am, the restaurant was not completely full and there seemed to be an abundance of waitstaff milling about. We were seated immediately and not spoken to. 10 minutes later, still no one stopped by to say anything to us. We got up and left and STILL no one said anything.
You can get quicker breakfast at starbucks. pass. -
Review from Amy L.
Going to this place made us decide that from now on, if we want to go out for breakfast, we're going to go to a place hyped for some spectacular waffle or bacon dish. If we're going to go out for b'fast, might as well go to someplace great, not someplace average.
This place is just about as satisfying as making pancakes in your tiny NY kitchen or just going out to McDonalds, but McDonalds is cheaper, which is why, if you want breakfast, you may as well spend an extra 5-10 and go someplace hyped for something particularly special to share with fellow Yelpers. Enough said. -

Somerville, MADon't come here for a fine dining experience, but DO come here for a decent meal at good value. Been going here for years since it's close to where I live, and it's always a fun place to go for 3 am stack of pancakes, or a cheap lasagne lunch special. It's actually become quite a dear place to me and is one of the reasons I love living right here (along with Sutton's Pizza, Totoya Sushi, and much more. Plus my fiance feels very clever telling people he took me to "the Ritz" for a date. ;)
