As we enter the final day of Seattle’s Seafair weekend, boaters are reminded to stay safe by not drinking and boating. Similar to designating a driver, boaters should designated a skipper who will refrain from alcohol or drug consumption, and will be familiar with and be able to safely operate the vessel. For information about the Designate a Skipper program or about safe boating, visit: http://www.parks.wa.gov/958/Designated-Skipper orhttp://www.uscgboating.org
