Teaser- The NYC Fire Wire app is coming along and we're hoping will be available soon!
Last night in Brooklyn, 7 children have died in a fire. Girls ages 8, 12, 15 and boys ages 5, 6, 7 & 11 are no longer with us. At this time, investigators are saying there is NO o
evidence of smoke detectors. YOU can save your own and your families life; smoke detectors do save lives. Change your batteries when you change your clocks. We keep saying it, we're not saying it for us, it's for you!
The FDNY is an aggressive interior department, especially the companies in the area of that fire. Anything that could have been done on the FD's end was done quickly but it was too late. NOTHING can replace a working smoke detector.

The city advertises the job of FDNY as one with great benefits, attempting to recruit minorities and females. What they neglect to say is those benefits were reduced, and should you get injured and not able to work again, your paycheck will amount to $27/day. Firefighter is one of the most dangerous jobs out there, who will take care of my family and pay my bills shouldn't be a concern when your going to risk your life for this City. Help us pressure law makers to do the right thing, help us groom the risk takers that have saved lives in NYC for the past 150 years. There's a reason the FDNY is known as NYC's Bravest! Sign the petition, help us help you! https://www.change.org/p/elected-officials-of-the-ny-city-a…
