On St. Patrick's Day in NYC, everyone is somewhat Irish...

The Parade is still endless, with all those high school marching bands and Hibernians etc. and also this year one gay group...

 Less drinking than in years gone by, which is on the whole a Good Thing...

 Well, Houston and Chicago have great Parades for the day too....( with the river in Chicago died green and all)-- my parents were in Houston once and attended the Parade there, and said it was really grand..

But NYC is still THE St. Patrick's Day Parade
