Dear EMS1 Subscriber,
Cameras play a role in EMS whether we like it or not. Recent video from a body camera shows a dramatic rescue and resuscitation of a toddler from a car that had crashed into a frigid river 14 hours earlier. Dash cam footage also shows a man behind the wheel of a stolen ambulance, after he held an EMS provider at knife point and hijacked the rig.

Assaults continue to occur in EMS, and a paramedic attacked by a patient speaks out on how it changed his career.
