Yeah right! The UK announced they won't be flying any combat missions, nor will the Germans, no great surprise there. Turkey? Well big mouth Erdogan has made himself scarce refusing to sign on and in the meantime Turkey remains one of the biggest conduits for money and fighters going to ISIL.

That is one of the diferences between a western democracy like Israel and ISIS-HAMAS-AL-KAEDA organiations. In western democracies no one has immunity against the low even if he is prime minister, president etc. In HAMAS-ISIS etc we witnessed "5 minutes trials" in the streets of GAZA and execution on the spot, We saw mass murders of syrian soldiers, journalists behading and more. Where would you prefere to live - under HAMAS ISIS or in Israel, US, EU? Immigrants answer this question daily. They never immigrate to ISIS HAMAS rulled areas.

Middle east - US war planes to fly from base in Iraqi Kurdistan

What exactly will our EU allies do to actually help in this effort? The Arabs I think will talk, talk, talk...not a pair of b s between them. Speaking of which the toughest guy in the Region with the biggest mouth, Erdogan, is committed to do nothing. No surprise there. Also, one other point about ISIL.....the apple (IS) doesn't fall far from the tree (RIYADH). Talk about intolerance, persecution, etc. Just a week ago some 28 people were rounded up by hard-line Islamists from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and their current situation is unknown, according to human rights advocates. Saudi Arabia is continuing the religious cleansing that has always been its official policy; It is the only nation state in the world with the official policy of banning all churches. This is enforced even though there are over 2 million Christian foreign workers in that country. Israel on the other hand protects and safeguards the religious rights of Muslims and all religions.

OMG, this is really a sad story for EU. Three years ago when I heard claims on CNN that Euro as currency has no future - I though "well Euro is a competitor to the dollar, but it will never happen Euro to be destroyed". Now, after the economic crisis in EU, after even more stupid economic war with Russia - regions in EU will seek for independence (similar dissolution happened to Yugoslavia after they suffered economically). Is seems that CNN predicted correctly (both Yugoslavia and EUro zone).

Europe - 'High-speed objects' hit flight MH17, says Dutch report

The plane's cockpit is punctured by holes of around 30mm (that we see in the pictures). What kind of missile is BUK? Is it chasing pilot faces and explodes in front of them, and splits in 30mm objects (similar as SU25 bullets)?

Even in secular France allowances must be made for members of the Catholic Church who practice what used to be called "Christianity." This is an expression of human solidarity, that no society can afford to punish.

France - Top French chef Alain Ducasse 'goes vegetarian'

Ducasse is not going "vegetarian," as the headline misleadingly claims. He is replacing birds and mammals with fish and other aquatic animals. Vegetarians do not eat any animals. Given their relative size, he will probably actually cause more animals to suffer and die for his menu. See FishFeel.org

Everybody knows that in any war, collateral damages are unfortunately very common. I can't think of one country at war doing this.

Middle east - Kerry says world will not watch Islamic State’s 'evil' spread

The rotten apple (IS) doesn't fall far from the tree! The "Lesser" extremists apparently are alive and well in Saudi Arabia. Dozens of Christians were recently arrested at a prayer meeting there. Some 28 people were rounded up by hard-line Islamists from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in the home of an Indian national in the eastern Saudi city of Khafji, and their current situation is unknown, according to human rights advocates. Saudi Arabia is continuing the religious cleansing that has always been its official policy; It is the only nation state in the world with the official policy of banning all churches. This is enforced even though there are over 2 million Christian foreign workers in that country. In contrast America, Europe, Russia and Israel on the other hand protect and safeguard the religious rights of Muslims and all religions.

France - Hollande hits back at Trierweiler's 'lie' about 'toothless' poor

"Do you really think that I could look down on my own origins, on my reason for being?" he asks. Actually yes, we can. You have never been poor, really poor. If you had been you would be helping the poor, toothless people by creating jobs and reducing taxes.
