Something I have never seen before:Park Avenue closed for street fair ( granted, only on Southbound side).
Northernmost section was a Japan Relief effort.
All kinds of booths including food and temporary tattoos, etc.
Area was incredibly crowded, half with Japanese tourists taking photos.
Japan's sufferings have been bumped off the news offerings for a while...until a new scare emerges or something the media can stir things up with.
