Public spaces in Manhattan are warming up but still seem kind of desolate this time of year...Only earliest of Spring flowers so far, be a while before trees start to bloom ( though I have noticed some already starting to blossom here and there).
People still use these areas now because they are escapes--less than ideal, but still someplace to go.
