Brok, PhD, Director / Ellen Gussaroff, PhD, LCSW, Co-Director / Delverlon Hall, EdD, LMSW, Assistant Director Mini-Workshop Series 2016 __________________________________     Saturday, February 20, 2016 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM     FINDING THE FEAR A Couple Therapy Training Workshop Lee Kassan, MA, LPsyA, LHC, CGP 3 CEUs will be offered for this workshop     After a brief review of attachment theory, Lee Kassan will offer concrete guidelines for structuring the  conversation between partners, and will identify ways of accessing the underlying fears behind couple conflict.  Lee will demonstrate with volunteer role-plays how he works with couple dynamics to rephrase and reframe what partners communicate. Kassan MA, LPsyA, LMHC, CGP has practiced as a psychotherapist since 1980. He is Editor of the journal GROUP, and has written six books about psychotherapy, including Shrink Rap: Sixty Psychotherapists Discuss Their Work, Their Lives, and the State of Their Field; Who Could we Ask?: The Gestalt Therapy of Michael Kriegsfeld; and Peer Supervision Groups: How They Work and Why You Need One. In addition to working with couples, he also specializes in working with creative artists, actors, musicians, and writers.
