Today, at his funeral, PO Brian Moore was promoted to Detective of the New York City Police Department. The funeral was attended by thousands. Special acknowledgment to the Community of Plainedge, Law Enforcement from all over who attended, 7-11 on Hicksville Rd who not only offered free breakfast and water to the funeral detail, but also set up their tent and handed it out. As did Bolla Market/Exxon on Hicksville Rd. I'm sure there is more that I didn't see.. It was hot, but there was no place we'd be than saying good bye to a hero who gave his life to save the community he sworn to protect and serve.
