Terrible news from Omaha. Detective Kerrie Orozco was killed while protecting the public just hours before her delayed maternity leave. So sad. Here's a piece I altered in honor of Detective Orozco and her family. Rest easy Sister.

Here are a couple of images I recently completed for a wife of a RCMP officer who wanted to do something special for her husband. She had them printed on canvas and told me her husband loves them. I really like the image of him with his daughter.

Making Sense
Sometimes it's hard to comprehend why things happen. Why innocent children are killed or why people do certain things to each other. For a normal person it doesn't make sense why someone would murder a child or torture another human to death. Why would a whole family be killed in a car accident just because they had a flat? Why does a loving father die in front of his family while eating dinner because he choked on a chicken bone? it does not compute!!! It's hard...

Here's the image I did for the family that I mentioned in my last post a few days ago. This picture was taken just hours after this girl and her 2 siblings witnessed their father getting killed in a car accident and their Grandmother getting flown by STARS to a trauma center. Their Mother mentioned to me how helpful Lucy was to them and now just seeing images of her bring her children comfort.
