More prayers to Baltimore PD & FD this afternoon as the media is reporting 7 officers are injured and 1 is unresponsive as more civil unrest from 'Peaceful protesters'. And.... this clown is on his way. That should make things better, shouldn't it? Get ready for more chants for dead cops in the street just like we had here.
The Rev. Al Sharpton will come to Maryland in May, leading a two-day march from Baltimore to Washington to rally for justice in the Freddie Gray case.

How the FDNY got their Bravest nickname
New York City's smoke-eaters have earned their nickname a thousand times over since it was first applied to them in the late 1800s.

I see a bunch of people have bought our app. How is it going so far? Any problems/suggestions? Recently I added to the history, "Dalmatians" and added some Gordon Bennett medal winners. It takes time to gather the information then put it in but we're getting there.

  • NYC Fire Wire I started my career in Ray's firehouse, assigned to Engine 40 out of probie school. Ray is a great guy, he beat cancer and it keeps coming back. For many, 9/11 is a page in the history books, but for us in the FDNY, it's a tragedy that is still happening.
