Ten Movies With Crazy Alternate Endings
The 10 Alternate Movie Endings You Never Got A Chance To See Must Be Seen
Spoiler alert.
Let me just start with that… In fact, let me say it again: spoiler alert!
If you don’t want to know how a number of today’s top
films were supposed to end (and how they ultimately did), here is where
we leave you.
Still there? Good.
We all know Kevin Spacey was Keyzer Soze, Soylent Green is people, Rosebud was a sled and the entire last act of Psycho
was disturbingly awesome. However, for every good twist ending, there
are some really, really bad ones. And as it turns out, there are some
even more terrible ones we were spared the horror of watching, thanks to
some quick-thinking executives and on-their-game test audiences.
Granted, in some cases, the endings that made their way to
cinemas were the questionable ones -- and there’s nothing we can do
about it except wonder what these people were thinking. A bad ending can
completely ruin a good film, and with today’s plugged-in audiences,
that can be damaging for a movie.
So here’s a look at 10 films that originally had different endings… for better or worse.
