The Couple Therapy Training Program Presents  Fear in Couple Relationships:   Understanding and Dissolving Blocks to Intimacy  A live presentation and discussion of issues    Saturday May 2, 2015  10:00 AM- 1:00 PM     Introduction to Issues: On the many faces of fear in relationships Presented by Albert Brok, PhD, CGP & Ellen Gussaroff, LCSW, PhD   This workshop will present an approach devised by Lee Kassan, MA  to shift couples from the conflict that brings them into treatment to genuine intimacy.After a brief explanation of the attachment theory in which it is grounded, Lee Kassan will teach principles and demonstrate interventions using role-play volunteers.     Lee Kassan, MA is Editor of the Journal of the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society. He is a Psychoanalyst as well as a Couple and Group Therapist.    Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Comprehend four kinds of fear manifestations in couples. 2. Describe the four basic attachment styles. 3. Identify two of those styles which manifest in intimate relationships. 4.
