Pete Davidson, the 21-year-old featured player on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," and Colin Jost, the co-host of the show's parody news show Weekend Update, will attend the "Kick Off to Summer Benefit" for the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund.
Davidson is the son of FDNY firefighter Scott Davidson, who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Jost's mother, Kerry Kelly, is the chief medical officer of the city Fire Department. She was among the first responders at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11.
The event in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen on Tuesday, May 19, honors New York City's fallen first responders and raises funds for the families they left behind.
Tickets include a three-hour open bar and hors d'oeuvres. A special discounted ticket offer is available for active-duty NYPD, FDNY, and PAPD first responders. Music will be provided by DJ Raffael Deluca.
Check out EventBrite.com for more information about the benefit.
