Had reason to be received at this charity-related meeting at woman's apartment at this newer building on Sutton Place,--her apartment had great view of 59th Street Bridge but was not in the league of the kinds of places you find in the older buildings...she was very house-proud, though, and showed off her place to me with a kind of flourish that seemed to me to say "Look at what I have achieved!!"--because she had had a long career on Madison Avenue as I remember ( she must have started out in the days of "Mad Men" I suppose...when getting ahead required real grit and determination for a woman...

Fooey, just says on most sites it was built in the 1950's, which I would have guessed by the look of it..here is one listing for one of the fancier apartments
