As I understand it, these very graphic underwear ads for men became standard in Europe long before they did in NYC...and, of course, where would we be without huge posters of David Beckham touting his underwear?
But not everyone likes Prada, either...the fashion world is full of rivalry, odious comparisons and jealousies which frankly I would rather not know about.
Fashion is still big business in New York, even if Bloomberg has done his best to take a wrecking ball to the culture and business of the Garment District..
Well, people will keep coming into Midtown for fashions or "styles" as some call them. And whether the trend in women's dresses is towards the short or the long ( and IS there anything as really overarching fashion "trend" these days, anyway?More like fashion anarchy from what I can see.
You won't learn much from me....go read Women's Wear Daily or something ( if THAT is still around)...or read the websites where "fashionistas" gather..
