I ate here on Wednesday, September 7th and it was such an enjoyable experience that I have to write about it. I enjoyed their lasagna special for 13.85 that gave me some delicious chicken noodle soup and bread as well. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and how great the service was. I felt very welcomed there.
Being a tourist in the city after a day of being rained out at the US Open I was looking for a place to eat that within walking distance of Grand Central Station. This was the perfect place for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a warm environment and a delicious, inexpensive meal. Cheers to you Townhouse Cafe!!
Looks like the snug little Townhouse Cafe on 2nd Avenue is going to keep its minimal holiday lights on all through February..
