CNN.com:
A mammoth fire broke out Friday morning in a Kentucky industrial park, sending plumes of thick smoke over the area as authorities worked to contain the damage.
The blaze began shortly before 7 a.m. at the General Electric Appliance Park in Louisville, according to Mike Weimer from the city’s emergency management agency. He said that there were no reports of anyone injured or trapped.
A six-alarm fire burning at Louisville manufacturing facility GE Appliance Park since Friday morning is “controlled but ongoing,” according to a city official.
More than 120 firefighters have been battling the massive blaze, which engulfed a building, Chief Kevin Tyler from Jefferson County Fire Service told NBC News.
“The structure has collapsed,” he said. “We have 18 different fire districts throughout Jefferson County on the scene.”
Due to a change in weather conditions, the shelter in place has been reduced to a half-mile radius around GE Appliance Park as firefighters remain at the scene of a massive fire.
