ONLY a couple of blocks away from each other in East Upper Midtown, we have the workingman's Subway Inn (which has been there forever) --a great example of a dying sort of place--
AND THEN there is the elegance and probable snootiness of Brinkley's Station, who no doubt mosey over from their swell digs on Park Avenue.
And lots of mixed architecture and lifestyles in between...the incredible mix-up of Midtown.
