    • NYC Fire Wire Who was threatening to hurt? Issues like this can not be ignored, it's one thing to admire and respect a certain organization but to use a false claim for personal or financial gain is wrong on many levels. By claiming to be something your not, you put yourself in a position to represent that organization(even though you dont) and you can give them a bad name. It's offensive to those of us who are the real thing.

  • Luke Wagner I don't think this article I entirely true the media blows everything out of proportion. Just to satisfy the needs of readers. Think about it this guy went through the academy and passed just like every other ff. I'd like to hear the story from his mouth or someone actually on scene not just "media agenda sources "
    • NYC Fire Wire This article is accurate. Our department policy prohibits us from talking to the media so your only going to get 'sources' and not names. This isn't the only incident of its kind. It just doesn't hit the media.
