[Share]Published: May 18, 2015 Empire State Building Lit for EMS Week 2015 Empire State Building Lighting The Empire State Building was illuminated in yellow, white and blue with a red and white halo on Sunday May 17 in celebration of National EMS Week 2015. EMS Week is an annual week-long series of events designed to promote public safety among all New Yorkers, attract potential EMS recruits and celebrate the life-saving efforts of more than 3,000 members of FDNY's Emergency Medical Service.
