Narrow Houses in Manhattan

Actually, now that I look at it, this house on East 62nd Street near Third Avenue is not all that narrow...I have seen pix of narrower ones in Washington, D.C. ( Georgetown section).

Well, when it comes to space, Manhattanites are used to doing more with less.

I saw an article last year of an award that had been given to this young couple who had a miniscule apartment in Tudor City with a Murphy Bed that folded into the wall. They had made it look liveable. There is no reason why people who have this place could not do pretty well too..
