Heat and Humidity Can Seem Like an Outdoor Prison...What is Considered "Dangerous"?

New York City is experiencing its first real heat wave of the Summer, and it is sweaty and claustrophobic...sun beating down mercilessly. It feels like a kind of prison.

Nothing to someone used to New Orleans, of course,-- and New Yorkers will also get more acclimated to the heat as the summer continues and their "blood thins out," as I used to hear old people say.

Again, the City issues Heat Advisory Warnings all the time...

Here is what I could find on the net-- whoops, had a report that was from 2010 but sounded just like now...but it forecast worse conditions coming while I believe this time the temperature starts dropping after this coming Sunday.
