A Wis. firefighter was grazed by a bullet and two bullet holes were found in the ambulance's patient care compartment exterior earlier this week. This is the latest incident in the last two months that has seen ambulances in Milwaukee, Chicago, and St. Louis struck by gunfire. What remains unclear, though, is if these were shots intentionally fired on EMS personnel specific to the incident in progress or if the gunfire is part of a larger trend of targeted violence against public safety professionals.
