NYC Fire Wire wishes a speedy recovery to a very close friend of this page, Eddie O, Dispatcher 236 of Queens Fire Operations. This afternoon, he was burned while operating at a house fire at his volunteer department in Uniondale, Long Island. He was admitted to NUMC burn center and is in some pain but anxious to heal and get back to work. Get better, Ed!
