Videos: U2 Subway Busks In Disguise, Bono Goes Biking With Jimmy Fallon

U2 appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night and revealed the full-extent of their subway busking. As people may have picked up on, U2 performed an impromptu set for Fallon by the 42nd Street S shuttle on Monday. It turns out that they initially came out dressed in disguise, and as you can see in the video below, no one really recognized them while they played "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." But there was no mistaking U2 when everyone peeled off their costumes and performed "Desire" for the elated selfie-craving crowd.

U2's Tonight Show appearance came nearly six months after the band was forced to reschedule their weeklong residency with Fallon, due to a Central Park biking accident that left Bono seriously injured. Bono faced his fears head-on by with Fallon getting back on a bike in front of Rockefeller Plaza...only to be struck repeatedly by his bandmates.
Bono and the band discussed the biking accident later in the show, noting that he was wearing a leather jacket and a lot of lycra at the time. Even more interestingly, as you'll see in the clip below, Bono is apparently going through his Thin White Duke phase post-accident.

The band also gave a preview of their upcoming Innocence & Experience tour, which looks very U2-y.

And they performed three songs in-studio, including "Beautiful Day," "Song For Someone," and "Angel Of Harlem" (which they also performed at the subway platform, although that wasn't shown on Fallon). Check out "Angel" below, and the others at Consequence Of Sound.
