"FDNY Strong" is the EMS Week 2015 Poster Theme
Wednesday, May 6, Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro officially unveiled this year’s new citywide posters celebrating national EMS Week 2015, which begins on Sunday, May 17.
This year’s FDNY-developed poster’s theme is “FDNY Strong” featuring members of FDNY from locations throughout the five boroughs – two EMTs, two Paramedics, an EMS Captain and four Firefighters – working together to remove an injured patient from a serious, life-threatening situation. Though not a photo from an actual incident, it vividly shows the lengths FDNY members go to, as well as the tremendous effort and teamwork it takes to accomplish the Department’s life-saving mission.
Designed and produced by Vanguard Direct, the poster is intended to raise awareness about the life-saving work of FDNY’s EMS members and will be displayed in 350 kiosks citywide.
