On May 15, the FDNY Phoenix Society hosted their second Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration at Fire Department Headquarters in Brooklyn. The event included a Taiko drums performance and martial arts exhibitions. The Phoenix Society hopes to dedicate an event each year to one of the 44 Asian countries the society represents.
