Harvard-educated psychiatrist and Juilliard-trained concert pianist,
Dr. Richard Kogan, will give a lecture and concert which explore the impact of psychological factors and psychiatric illness on the creative output of the great American composer George Gershwin (1898-1937). The discussion will be illuminated by performances of Gershwin masterpieces such as Rhapsody in Blue and Porgy and Bess.
