Tony Sirgedas I am glad I work for a department that has put our safety at the top of their priorities. Second set of bunker gear, new hoods annually, face wipes, policy of showering as soon as possible after a fire, extractors in the stations, and twice a year cleaning from a commercial cleaning company.

Vinny Paz Not that safety has a price, but this new research will definitely bring some depts to their knees in costs. Double set of turnout gear, hoods & gloves and double the amount of uniforms issued. And on the Volunteer ranks it could even put many small companies out of business.
