Starry Night Over the Rhone, 1888...
This painting goes on view today at the Van Gogh Museum in
Amsterdam as part of “Munch : Van Gogh,” a exhibition which explores the biographical and artistic parallels between two iconic painters. The show (sure to be a blockbuster) runs through January.
