Thieves Steal $700 Worth Of Medicine From Brighton Beach Walgreens

Police are searching for two thieves accused of looting nearly $700 worth of drugs from a Brighton Beach Walgreens and shoving an employee out of their way when she tried to block their escape.
Cops say that at 2:30am on August 30, the two suspects entered the Walgreens at 713 Brighton Beach Avenue. A surveillance video provided by the NYPD shows one of the men stuffing boxes of medicine into his sweat pants while the other opens a paper gift bag.
As the men tried to leave the store, police say they were confronted by a female employee. She was pushed out of the way, causing her to cut her finger, and the two men fled the location with their stolen items, according to the NYPD.
