  • Ruth Thomas I'm sorry - I know it was scary for the mother but bringing up two kids on a farm you learn your first aid and you get your kid to the hospital. 
    What a mixup that the RCMP would think it was an assault and so hold back the ambulance.
    This has been blown out of proportion
  • Trevor Stephenson If I read this article right, an ambulance was not dispatched until after RCMP cleared the scene. Why were they not dispatched at the same time and the ambulance staged a block or two away while the scene was cleared, making response time reduced? And if they were diverted, why was another ambulance not immediately sent (by the way this article reads it wasn't), or just send the second ambulance to the second call?
