  • Mark Gandzyk We've been saying for years that Firefighting "Essentials" classes (FF1) and First Responder / EMT classes should be offered as an elective class in high schools, just like band, shop, student clubs, etc... And CPR / first aid should be taught as part of health class. If they can teach "sex ed", why not CPR?
