  • Cindy Sheets Bailey I'm sick and tired of the 'mental' excuse for pure evil. My Sgt had a nearly fatal encounter with one and I pray my firefighter son never meets up with one. Regular life in prison for this one....he KNEW what he was going to do and purposed to do it!!!!

ICYMI Fresno Fire Department Captain Pete Dern was released from the hospital. Captain Dern was severely burned in March after falling through the roof of a burning structure.
Fresno fire captain continues to make a remarkable recovery.

Some 400 homes were among the hundreds of structures destroyed as fast-moving wildfires raged through communities in Northern California, leaving at least one person dead and sending residents fleeing along roads where some buildings and vehicles were still in flames.
