Steve Jones, commander of the Army Medical Department Center and School and chief of the Medical Corps. Royal Perth Hospital cardiologists are spending time in the back of ambulances to see how paramedics treat heart attack patients before they arrive at hospital. And paramedics are going into hospital theaters to observe heart procedures such as arteries being unblocked and then on to the wards to see patients recover.
