California Governor Brown has declared a state of emergency in Lake and Napa counties due to the effects of the highly explosive 50,000-acre Valley Fire burning in Lake County that started on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
Entire communities have been devastated and thousands have been forced to evacuate.
At least 1,000 homes have been destroyed and hundreds more are being threatened, Cal Fire says.
Cal Fire says that over 1,000 firefighters are currently battling this blaze but their focus right now is on evacuating residents.
The #ValleyFire has so far roared through 50,000 acres+, sent four firefighters to the hospital with burns and leveled an unknown number of homes.
Four firefighters, among the first on the scene in Lake County, needed to be rescued after being trapped by the flames.
They belong to a helicopter crew that gets flown into the most dangerous areas to try to stop the flames.
All of them suffered second-degree burns.
Godspeed healing Brothers.
Please say a prayer for the Firefighters out on the line.
Stay safe and come home!

!['It is with deep sadness and regret to inform the Brotherhood that Dallas Hernandez, 21, a Patterson area West Stanislaus Fire Protection District (WSFPD) volunteer, died after his car crashed into a tractor trailer Thursday morning in Merced County, California.
Hernandez was going about 55 miles per hour around 2 a.m. near Minturn and Le Grand roads in Le Grand, Calif., when he rear-ended a semi stopped at a stop sign and about to make a turn, ABC30 reported.
Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. His girlfriend, Kayleigh Haas, was a passenger in the car and sustained major injuries.
Haas was flown to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto and is in stable condition. The driver of the semi did not sustain injuries.
Hernandez and Haas were both newly employed at Riggs Ambulance in Merced, the ambulance service that responded to the Thursday morning accident. “So their employees are kind of in shock too,” WSFPD and Patterson Fire Department Chief Steven Hall said.
Dallas had just completed the Modesto Junior College Fire Academy, and was in the process of becoming a certified paramedic after recently graduating from a paramedic program.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.
Godspeed healing to Kayleigh
Rest easy Brother,
We have the watch.
Until we all meet again on the “Top Floor”

!['Literally thousands of victims of September 11, 2001 and their families still struggle every day, continuing to face serious medical conditions and steep bills, doing the best they can... just to survive.
Cut their funding? Are you SERIOUS?
This is NO WAY to treat the very same people who responded so bravely and valiantly, the ones who sacrificed so much in the days, weeks, months and years following that wicked September day.
Americans from every state... nearly every Congressional district were and are DIRECTLY affected on and by 9/11.
We need to let Congress know we are VERY serious about this...

!['"My Brother Has Fallen"
My Brother has fallen; no I don't know his name
Have not the same parents, still family all the same
He lives in this town, I live in another
It doesn't really matter, 'cause this man is my Brother
My Brother I call him, yet I've never seen his face
I have brothers and sisters all over the place
You see I am a Firefighter and our families are one
A tradition for years past, from father to son
Around the world, a brotherhood of unity
A closeness, a bond, most people don't see
I'll watch his back; She'll watch mine
"You go, I go"… time after time
His family's my family, Her family theirs
We're part of one family, where everyone cares
I'll look after your kids, please look in on my wife
Should that day finally come when I laid down my life
We dedicate our lives helping our fellow man
Living day after day doing all that we can
Wherever we're needed, whether night time or day
To save the life of another, we'll step in harm’s way
My Brother has fallen, doing what he loved best
And among the Honored, he now stands with the rest
For a mile in dress uniform here everyone stands
For my Brother has fallen God, into your hands

!['"Why I will Never Forget”
I was just asked a question
"Why should we 'Never Forget'?"
I'll tell you my reasons
Because of 343 guys I've never met
You can say they knew the risk
When they all took on the job
Until you needed them
You might have thought they were slobs
"Why should we pay them
To just sit around and watch TV?"
But each one of those guys
Would give their life for you and me
And that's just what they did
On that horrible September day
They left behind loved ones
When they all went away
Never worrying about themselves
They herded thousands outside
"Why are you running in there?"
Some of the innocent cried
"Please just keep moving
Get as far away as you can."
When the buildings collapsed
Those same people ran
My brothers lay trapped
Underneath the concrete and steel
343 PASS alarms sounding
Please, God, this can't be real
The sight of all the chaos
Took its toll on their hearts
While the feeling of helplessness
Completely tore their world apart
Each of those men
Had a family or wife
But they made the greatest sacrifice
They gave up their life
Knowing it was bad from the start
The smoke billowing to the sky
They knew it was a real possibility
On that day they would die
But they marched into those towers
Surrounded by brothers
A bond that can't be explained
Nor understood by others
If you talked to those heroes
And asked them if they could
Do the same thing again
You know that they would
So long as there's an innocent
Put in harm's way
These men and women will be there
To always save the day
So those are my reasons
For remembering like I do
To honor the memories
Of those who died for me and you

!['9/11/2001.
FDNY Ladder 118 crosses the Brooklyn Bridge into lower Manhattan.
This picture captures the last alarm all 6 of the members riding on that rig would ever respond to.
The men from Ladder 118 responded into the chaos and emerged at the doomed Marriott World Trade Center hotel.
Survivors remembered seeing men with the number 118 on their helmets running up the stairs to help the panicked guests.
They were never seen alive again.
When the 110-story towers collapsed, the hotel was pulverized. More than 900 guests and scores of Marriott employees escaped. Many were likely aided by the men of Ladder 118.
Their rig, a mangled wreck of steel and glass, was recovered within days of the attack. Two months later, firefighters digging in the mountain of rubble spotted tools emblazoned with the Ladder 118 logo.
Some of the men from Ladder 118 were found within a few feet of each other, and the survivors in the firehouse were grateful that the men spent their final moments together.
Three of them — Agnello, Vega and Cherry — are together still, buried in adjacent plots in Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery.
Their simple yet elegant headstones sit on quiet, grassy slope, shaded by a canopy of oak trees.
Every year, the families and firefighters make a sacred pilgrimage to their graves, as well as to those of their other fallen brothers elsewhere in the region.
"They were found side by side, and they should stay side by side," said VinnieCarla Agnello.
Her two sons were 3 and 1 at the time
Rest in Peace Brothers
We will NEVER FORGET YOU
You made the #BrotherhoodStrong
