  • Kathleen Kelly I'm all for equipping our police officers with the necessary tools to aid them in carrying out their duties to help protect the public. They do a dangerous job and risk their own lives every hour they're on duty. I have great respect for all law enforcement agencies, especially the NYPD. I'm especially proud of my nephew, who works out of the 33rd Pct. May God bless them all and keep them safe.
  • Meg Wright I say give them every advantage to keep the citizens safe and themselves safe. Thank you for your service. Be safe out there

  • Maria Santiago When I grew up in the late 70 and 80s in Washington Heights we had a beat cop - big Irish guy who would come by and play hand ball with us. Had a blast with us and he would always check up on us and keep us in line. One time on a super hot summer day he bought us all a can a soda each from the local bodega he would hang and joke with us but taught us many life lessons. Learned a lot from him hope he's doing well.
