Clyde Drexler was born June 22, 1962.
Drexler led Houston's Phi Slama Jama teams to the NCAA Final Four in 1982 and 1983.
A first-round pick of the Trail Blazers in 1983, Drexler led Portland to appearances in the NBA Finals in 1990 and 1992.
In the summer of 1992, Drexler was part of the Dream Team at the Barcelona Olympics. 
Before the NBA trade deadline in 1995, the Blazers dealt Drexler to the Rockets for Otis Thorpe. Reunited with college teammate Hakeem Olajwon, Drexler helped Houston repeat as NBA champions. In a sweep of Orlando in the Finals, Drexler averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
Drexler was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2004.
