Johnny Depp's Ten Best Pirate Outfits
Long before he played Captain Sparrow and even before playing Don Juan, Johnny Depp had an eye for romantic sleeves, ratty scarves, necklaces, bracelets, rings—the more the better! He's worn a lot of crazy shit, at times straying from strict pirate style in favor of mob boss, juggalo (just once as far as we know) or steampunk train operator. But like the ocean tides he has always returned to his swaggy look of choice—a very rich curatedly dirty pirate. Today is his 52nd birthday and we wish we could send him buried treasure, jewels, gold doubloons and windswept maidens. But since we can't do that, we gathered his ten most glorious pirate moments for all to see.
