Have you ever gotten glares or questions while grocery shopping?
Some of the best experiences for firefighters and the public happen on food runs; it would be a shame if all that eating were halted.

  • Jonathan Vaughan They dont complain that we are at the store but typically ask why we park in the fire line. They ask what happens if the store catches fire?! Our answer is very simple... guess we parked in the right spot then eh?

  • William Browning Think of the departments that get 1 or 2 fires a shift, regardless of it being, house, grass, woods, whatever. Fighting fire drains energy and food creates energy. The no food diet would restrict our effectiveness on the fire scene, potentially putting our lives or the publics lives in danger if we have multiple fires in a day. In my opinion it's a terrible idea for a no food diet
