FDNY Responds to Fire in Times Square High-Rise

A possible electrical fire on the 33rd floor of a high-rise building in Times Square is under control, the FDNY says.
The FDNY said it received a call about a smoke condition at One Astor Plaza on Broadway shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Viacom is headquartered in the building, which houses other commercial offices.
At least half a dozen fire trucks were seen clogging the streets in the busy intersection near 45th Street as hundreds of people milled about.
No injuries were reported,
