Detractors of Máximo Kirchner seek 'electoral impact' - Aníbal Fernández
Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández blasted critics of Máximo Kirchner who will be running for Congress in the upcoming elections, accusing opposition sectors of seeking to have an impact on voters.
In his daily contact with the press, the head of ministers today said the son of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner “has been put down to lot of stupidities because he is a candidate,” alluding to media versions that wrongly accused the founder and leader of the La Cámpora youth political organization of holding illegal bank accounts abroad and millionaire properties.
Recent versions have also alleged the parliamentary candidate representing the Santa Cruz province headed a rally in the southern city of Caleta Olivia where mattresses, electrical appliances and water heaters provided by the national Social Development Ministry were donated.
Aníbal Fernández warned “Máximo has dignity” saying such versions responded only to a “media persecution.”
