Rent Leonardo DiCaprio's Fabulous Palm Springs Compound For $4,500 a Night

About a year ago, Wolf of Wall Street star Leonardo DiCaprio scored one of Palm Springs's greatest Modern houses (which is saying something, considering all the great Modern in PS), but maybe he's not using it as much as he thought he would, because it's now up for rent via a website that's like a one-house Airbnb listing—granted, a very, very pricey one. The 1964 residence was designed by architect Donald Wexler for singer/actress Dinah Shore (namesake of the Coachella Valley's number-one-ranked course for golf). Renovated before DiCaprio bought it, the 7,022-square-foot main house has six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, and is surrounded by incredible grounds featuring a statement swimming pool, tennis courts, and a one-bedroom guest "casita." In all, the property totals 1.34 acres of private chillout space. Renters get free WiFi and daily maid service, which they absolutely should for $4,500 a night.

I like this a lot. Walls of glass make everything look better.
Impressive, but surprisingly cold. I bet it was more charming before the renovation. Also, statement swimming pool? What's it stating? "I'm a rectangle!?"
This is a wonderful property. And Totos too!
Wexler knew what he was doing. It's large and spacious without losing the private home feeling.
i don't like any of the tile in the bathrooms or the tile flooring. otherwise it's pretty sweet.
