Mayor of London Boris Johnson visited Engine 10/Ladder 10 in Lower Manhattan on Feb. 13. "It's a real privilege to be here," he said. "I never thought I'd get a chance to visit a New York City firehouse.". The Mayor enjoyed coffee in the firehouse kitchen and chatted with the Fire Commissioner, Chief of Department and firefighters. The Mayor chatted with Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, Chief of Department James Leonard and firefighters about their gear, 9/11, the London Fire Brigade and fighting fires in cold weather.
