Thousands braved the snow and cold Tuesday to make their way through East Harlem as part of the 38th annual Three Kings Day Parade.
It celebrates the time Christians believe the three wise men visited the baby Jesus.
The parade goes from 106th Street and Lexington Avenue to 115th Street and Park.
It features large hand-made puppets, music, dancing, and thousands of city school kids.
It's a major event in the Latino and Caribbean communities.
"It's something secondary for us to celebrate besides American Christmas. This is more traditional to us Hispanics. Just putting that hay under that bed, you know. It's totally different from having a tree," said one attendee.
"We've been doing it for the past 30 years, so...and now I have my kids coming. So they got to miss school today to watch it. This is our Christmas," another said.
This year's parade celebrated the work of the parade's founder and former El Museo director, Jack AgĂșeros.
