Gizmodo Australia

The same friend who turned me on to Gizmodo to begin with has recently emailed me that " Gizmodo.au is even better."

It's pretty good, I feel. Also great to have something scientific from Down Under ( Of course, there is Dr. Karl on the BBC, especially on the show "Up All Night").

Love the article " Don't post selfies with your guns," and also learning that all these papers of Albert Einstein are also now free online.

I was not aware Apple gave prizes just specifically to Australia..
Games are not my thing so I have skipped that

Uber being banned in India because of rape allegations?

Like everyone else, the Aussies have this thing about owning the coolest phone around, and have their choice of the year here.

My favorite of these was " A Beginner's Guide to Smart Lights," because this is something that I will actually be dealing with for sure.

Opinion: Stop Trying To Get Things At Target Banned, You Look Like Idiots

You know what? I get it. I understand how frustrating it is, as a gamer, to have titles previously cleared by the Classification Board pulled from shelves for being “inappropriate”. That’s what happened at Target with Grand Theft Auto V
As a form of retaliation, though, gamers have started new petitions trying to ban everything from the Bible through to 50 Shades Of Gray. I’m here to ask you to stop that — mostly because you look like idiots.

Slow-Mo Video Reveals Raindrops On Sand Behave Like Asteroid Impacts

There’s little more atmospheric than striding out across a beech in the driving rain — but what’s happening as those rain drops smash into the sand beneath your feet?

Here's Apple's Best Of 2014 For Australia

Every year, Apple comes out and names its “Best Of 2014″. The music, movies, TV shows and apps it thinks rose above the competition for a particular year. The list has now been localised for Australia. Here’s what took out top honours in 2014.

Here's A Trailer For A Vertical Movie Because Everything Is Terrible

Argentinian filmmaker I’m Gonzalo Moiguer has set about making a movie shot entirely in vertical orientation. GREAT.

Honda's Holiday Toy Ads Continue To Make Us Nostalgic For The '80s

Honda had us all weepy-eyed with nostalgia during its first run of holiday ads this year that used our favourite ’80s toys to lure us into buying a car. The strategy probably didn’t convince every child of the ’80s to run out and buy a new ride, but that’s ok because it means Honda just keeps churning out more of these wonderful commercials.

The Government Is Slowly Working To Boost Mobile Phone Coverage Around Australia

Having great mobile phone coverage in the city is one thing, but as you get deeper and deeper into this great land of ours, you notice that bars of signal become shorter and shorter. The Federal Government is now working to fix that.
